Kim Sousa-Peoples, Ph.D. Director
Kim has worked in higher education for over 16 years. She earned her Ph.D.
from UNCG’s School of Education Curriculum and Instruction department,
studying higher education administration. She also holds a Master’s
degree in higher education and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, both
from The University of South Carolina. Prior to serving as the Director of
Orientation & Family Programs, she was the Assistant Director of Orientation for Parent and
Family Programs at UNCG and the Assistant Dean of Students at Sacred Heart
University in Connecticut.
Megan Moore, MA Assistant Director
Megan holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Peace and Conflict Studies, and Political Science from Guilford College. Prior to coming to UNCG, Megan worked for three years at the University of Virginia as a Program Advisor. In this role, she advised the University’s programming board and Arts Board program.
Rosi Crawford Business & Technology Manager
Rosi earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the UNCG Bryan School of Business and Economics.
She has worked for over 12 years in a corporate setting and gained much of her business experience
at a software design firm where she held various positions from product management to quality control.
Before becoming part of Orientation & Family Programs, Rosi was part of the UNCG Purchasing staff where her main job function was testing the SCT
Banner Finance System.
Sarah Schupp Graduate Assistant
Sarah is currently pursuing a Master's degree in the School of Education's Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education program. She graduated from Elon University in 2008 with a double major in Political Science and International Studies. While a student at Elon she studied abroad in Italy, Australia, and Ghana, West Africa. Prior to her arrival at UNCG, she served on the Elon Student Government Association executive board and worked at the Office of Financial Planning.
Garrett Kachellek Graduate Assistant
Garrett is working on a Master's degree in the School of Education's Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education program. He graduated from Elon University in 2007 with a degree in Political Science and with Minors in History and Philosophy. While a student at Elon he worked as the Treasurer of the Student Government Association, a Resident Assistant and was a member of the Varsity Golf Team. Prior to attending UNCG he worked for two years on political campaigns.
